Chad Johnson

Percussionist and vocalist Chad “Chadzilla” Johnson calls Denver, Colorado his home. Having performed, recorded and taught music in the area since 1992 he has built a solid reputation as a vital part of the music scene having played with over 300 Denver bands. Chadzilla is proud and excited to join Dado Sa and the Boutique Bossa Jazz Band to record their debut album in Brazil in late 2019. 

He owns and operates 25 BPM Studios and Records which has released music from Miguel Espinosa, Jeff Wahl, Little Star, Synthesis and the Swindle, Lost Walks, Little Car and has released two solo albums. As a drummer he has recorded and toured internationally with Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, Polytoxic, Little Hercules, Eddie Turner and Kate Eaton. In 2007, he created the “House of Rock” program at Swallow Hill Music which offers band experiences for teens and adults to find their inner artist.
